Dong-Sik Kim, M.D., Ph.D. graduated from Korea University College of Medicine and had residency training at Korea University Medical Center. He finished fellowship training at the Asan Medical Center (HBP surgery and liver transplantation) and the University of Cincinnati (Abdominal Transplantation) and started an academic appointment as an assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati. Currently, he is working at Korea University Medical Center, Anam hospital as a professor of surgery and the director of the Organ Transplantation Center and Division of HBP Surgery and Liver Transplantation. He is serving as a board member of the Korean Association of HBP Surgery, the Korean Society for Transplantation, and an active member of many international societies such as ASTS, ILTS, TTS, IHPBA-APHPBA.
